What is a social badge? How does it work?

Badges are graphic files that allow you to easily tell your friends or client base that you'll be participating in the AARP 09 event - and then get them excited about attending themselves! You can easily place Badges on your website or blog, send them out in mass-emails, and/or include them in your email signatures. When your Badge is clicked, the user will be brought to AARP 09's You Are Here™ system where they can explore all the exciting event activities along with a full-featured exhibitor directory and floor map. Badges are easy to use - simply choose a style below to get started. If at any time you would like to use a different style badge, you can return to this page and follow the steps again.

How do I use this code?

On the web: Select the code on the left and copy (CTRL+C) it. Open the web page you would like to paste (CTRL+V) the code into and place it where you desire. If you are not the person who manages the website, copy and paste this code into an email for that person to use.

In an email: If you are using Outlook, click here to highlight the preview image above and then copy it by pressing CTRL + C on your keyboard. Open up a new email window and paste it in the body of the message by going to "Edit > Paste". If using another mail client, try this method or insert the HTML snippet.
